It’s been a year since Eric and I created a Telegram bot that would make my own Bitcoin job search more efficient and send me all the latest job offers in a nice feed to my phone.
“Let’s share it, maybe other Bitcoiners will like it, too!”
That’s how Bitvocation started.
I had been looking for a way to serve the Bitcoin community for a while. Maybe this was it? And Eric was teaching himself all sorts of stuff on his journey to becoming a developer. This was a nice side project for him. Win-win!
One year in, it looks like we were on to something:
Around 300 Bitcoiners downloaded our free guide How to find your first job in Bitcoin (which just move here to Substack).
Over 800 Bitcoiners are subscribed to our free job feed on Telegram with approx 2,500 views per day on average
More and more employers contact us to include their jobs in our feed
We’re maintaining a comprehensive overview of Bitcoin conferences around the world (and working on getting discounts for you for all of them)
We’re in the process of launching monthly reports on the Bitcoin job market (coming soon)
Also: the Bitvocation team grew and now consists of 4+ smart, creative, enthusiastic professionals, including Mindaugas, our data wizard, and Marek, our partnership creator.

Some data and fun facts
Our Telegram channel grows by around 10% per month.
We have around 2,500 views daily, on average. (The huge spike you see below is from two weeks ago when we had tons of duplicated jobs flooding our feed… Ooops! Well, this gives you a glimpse of what things will look like during the bull market… ;)
We get the most views around 3pm and 9pm UTC every day.
Most of our audience is English speaking
